Ranvir Shah, cultural activist, philanthropist and businessman, has always had a keen interest in books, art, dance, music, interior decor and a sharp aesthetic perception. In 1998, he founded the Prakriti Foundation and has been a catalyst in changing the cultural scene in Chennai hosting events ranging from serious scholarly discourse to seminars, multimedia events, experimental and protest cinema, music festivals and contemporary dance performances. He is currently involved in the conceptualization and delivery of seven calendar events throughout the year. He has also curated various art exhibitions and festivals. He is a freelance journalist and theatre/art critic for the Hindu and New Indian Express newspapers.

Priyale is an Intellectual Property Attorney, with a keen interest for all art forms.She completed a bachelor’s degree in commerce and law at Bangalore University in 1997; with emphasis on Intellectual Property Rights and Business Law. She then graduated with distinction with a Master’s of Business Administration from Victoria University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia; having focussed on International Marketing and Brand Management.She has worked with leading IPR law firms both national and international as well as been part of the management team setting up a LPO ( Legal Process Outsourcing) Company in India over the past decade.
