The Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam regularly hosts workshops for its students in a variety of performing arts forms by qualified Indian and international guest teachers. The Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam looks forward to sharing the expertise and experience, which our guest teachers bring in, with others. Guest workshops will be announced on our Home Page. Craig is a professional storyteller and has an M.A. in Gender and Media Studies from the University of Sussex, UK. Since 2007 he has visited the Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam every year. Over the years he has been working with different groups of students and different age groups teaching them the sounds of English and the wonders that lie in the stories he embarks upon together with them.

We are extremely happy to welcome Juliet Palmer, a New Zealand-Canadian composer whose contemporary work defies classification. Juliet will teach a workshop the details of which will be announced closer to the date of her arrival.
Video photography and light & set design
Sue teaches animation at Bennington College, Vermont, USA. She has been documenting the Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam, the daily life of its students, their performances and some of the annual festivals of the Kattaikkuttu Sangam since 2005. Sue was the technical director of our collaborative production Karnatic Kattaikkuttu (2017-2019).
