Volunteers of all ages come to the Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam from around the world. Our alumni volunteers have become an enthusiastic support base world-wide for the Gurukulam and the Sangam. For many a stay at the school has changed their lives and sometimes their career decisions.

The Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam is now calling for volunteers for the school year 2019-2020. Ideally, volunteers should be willing to commit themselves for a period of 6 months.

  • Tailor/costume designer

We are seeking an experienced tailor to teach basic tailoring skills to students of the Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam interested in tailoring and costume design. The ideal candidate is someone who, in addition to excellent tailoring skills, has an interest in the performing arts in combination with the skills to design, cut and stitch costumes for our new theater productions. The presence of girls in these productions require the innovative adjustment of traditional male costumes to the female body.

  • Teacher of English as Second Language and/or Teacher of English through Drama
